Priscilla and Kenny’s Wedding 10.5.2013

This past weekend I had the pleasure to be a part of Priscilla and Kenny’s BIG DAY as their wedding coordinator.  They are a very busy couple that did a wonderful job putting together a simple, yet detailed, travel theme for their wedding.  I can honestly say I LOVED all the little touches that they had.  Throughout the ceremony and reception I could definitely tell and feel the love between these two.  They share such a beautiful relationship that seems to just work.  Not only were they complete sweethearts (and pretty laid back on the day of) but so were their families.  It made everything that much easier for the big day.  Here are a few photos from the wedding:

The Ceremony was held at First Presbyterian Church in Santa Ana, CA

After the ceremony the reception was scheduled for soon after.  I had to high-tail out of there to check on everything at the reception.  It was held not too far at The Center Club in Costa Mesa, CA

My favorite part definitely has to be the gift card and place card tables.  The details were very cute and clever!

All in all it was a beautiful day!  There were definitely some moments that made me tear up and of course stressful moments.  But all of that is what I love.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lee!!
(Fun fact, both their last names were “Lee” so no need to make any changes there! haha)

Weekend Madness

This weekend has definitely been a busy one filled with driving all over Orange County and Los Angeles but a productive one at that.

Some small details from Saturday’s wedding with Kelly Duprat Wedding Planner.

The phrase “less is more” holds true here.  I actually really like the simplicity of the cake table.  The lace detailing was perfect.

Besides their guestbook sign in the couple also had rocks for the guests to sign and write little messages on.  I thought this was really clever and liked this idea a lot.

Weddings don’t always have to be over the top.  If done right the simplicity of it all can make for a beautiful and intimate experience.  The room was definitely filled with love throughout the night.

After errands and an unsuccessful apartment hunting my Sunday night ended with a meeting with a client for this weekends upcoming soiree.  A sneak peak at some of the decorations for this weekend (I apologize for the poor quality due to lack of lighting and using my phone):

Gwenyth and Kevin’s Wedding

This past Saturday I had the privilege to work with my wonderful KDWP family assisting Kelly Duprat with a beautiful wedding.  For me, it was definitely the biggest and most hectic wedding thus far.  But with that, it was also a fun and enjoyable experience for me.  It was a true test of whether or not this is what I want to do.  And what do my test results show?  Well they show that I definitely thrive on the fast-paced action and stress of it all.  Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy the love, romance, and uniqueness to each wedding, but this is definitely not a career for someone if they cannot think quickly on their feet, role with the punches, deal with the stress, or even build up a sweat running around and moving things.  I would 100% do this all over again for the experience and lessons I learned this past weekend.  And with that…a few pictures from the wedding.

Gwenyth and Kevin’s wedding was beautifully done and I loved the whole concept of it all.  Although only a glimpse of it all was shown there was so much more to it.  The grand ballroom at the Marriott, Anaheim was decked out in beautiful orchids in every corner, a desert table with a chocolate fountain, a Hennessy and Grey Goose bar (along with several other bars), taiko drummers, and so much more.  Without a doubt they provided their guests with a great time in celebrating their unity.  And I am very happy that I got to experience it all.

And to end it all…I leave you with my beautiful, yet silly KDWP team and wedding planner.ImageImage
